Four Winds for Homeschoolers

Part-Time Options

goofing around at school

Four Winds welcomes homeschoolers as part-time students. We find that homeschoolers fit into the program at Four Winds easily, since they are already accustomed to working at their own level and pace.

We are able to work with students in subjects that some parents are not comfortable teaching at home. Four Winds students have completed math curricula through geometery and Latin through the third year of high school. In addition homeschooled students participate in daily creative writing workshops and art classes, as well as the afternoon's field trip or activity in Humanities, Science, or Performing Arts. We encourage homeschoolers to read the literature assigned to full-time students at Four Winds and to follow our year-long themes in Humanities and Science while they are at home.

Homeschooled students may enroll for a 16-week semester and choose the day(s) of the week they will attend. The cost per semester is $1100 per weekday for a full day-- 8:30 to 3:30.

We are located in Gill, Massachusetts, close to the highway, and have students from Franklin and Hamshire Counties. We have frequently had carpools coming from Northampton.
